Education Assistant-Special Needs. An 8 month fixed term contract is open for application at Tammin Primary School commencing Term 2,2014. The Tammin P & C would like to invite parents, staff, students and community members to the 2014 Welcome breakfast. To be held in the undercover area from 8:00am on Wednesday 30 April 2014. A gold coin donation is requested. PLease contact Kate Raston or Kate Uppill if you have any queries.

This term we have had a job vacancy advertised since week 4. The selection process has been running for the past 4 weeks. We have been focused on appointing a candidate who addresses the learning and teaching needs at our school. It is our pleasure to announce the appointment of Louise Grace to the position of year 4-7 teacher. From Term 2, Louise will work Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Mrs York will work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Our sincere thanks to Carolyn Dixon for assisting us this term. Parents will have an opportunity to meet with Louise next term.

The Tammin Playgroup are currently running a fund raiser with bulk cling wrap/Glad Bake and Alfoil. A copy of the order form can be found HERE

The full Executive Summary Report from the recent ERG is available to be read in the school office. If you would like to read the report please make a 1 hour appointment by contacting the office. School uniforms are sold through the Cooinda Centre. Opening hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3pm. Alternatively you can print out an order form and email to UNIFORMS Orders can then be picked up at your leisure.

VISITORS' BOOK All parents and visitors to the school, please report to the front office and sign the register, then as you leave , sign out. This is important so in case of emergency we are fully aware of who is on school grounds. As a visitor , you must comply with the occupational health and safety requirements of Tammin Primary School.

Tammin Primary School is a Level 3 Department of Education and Training institute located within the Wheatbelt Education District 180 kilometres east of Perth. The school was established in its current location in 1969 and first commenced in 1900. The school has experienced an average enrolment of 65 over the past five years with students from Kindergarten to Year 7 and is proud of its friendly, caring and relaxed atmosphere. The majority of our school's population live on wheat and sheep farming properties that are serviced daily by two school bus routes running north and south of Great Eastern Highway.
