Our Term 3 assembly will be held on Thursday 18 September at 2.20pm in the undercover area. At the conclusion of the assembly(approximately 3.00pm), students will show some of their class work that will be on display to their parents and visitors.

The final day of Term 3 for students is Thursday 25 September. Friday 26 September is a Professional Development day for staff. Term Four will commence on Tuesday 14 October for students. The school office will re-open on Monday 13 October.

ATHLETICS CARNIVAL

The 2014 Tammin-Meckering Athletics Carnival was an enormous success! Congratulations to Gold faction on winning both shields this year and to all the championship winners listed below. Our sincere thanks must go to the Tammin P & C Association for their ongoing support of the carnival. Thanks to Narelle, our EASA rep for her much appreciated coordination and preparation!

The biggest congratulations must go to the students. They showed incredible sportsmanship and comaradarie and never gave up! We are very proud of you all!

TRANSITION - Across this semester students will be transitioning between classrooms in preparation for 2015. This may see classes combining for peer group collaboration at different times of the day and week. This will include the 2015 Kindy orientation and year 6 and 7 high school orientation days. If you have any questions, please see your classroom teacher.

SCHOOL COMMUNITY COMMUNICATION POLICY

 

2015 Kindy enrolments are now being accepted. The staff at Tammin Primary School would like to provide your child with the opportunity to achieve their intellectual and social potential.  Students attending Tammin Primary School Kindergarten thrive, developing their independence and confidence in a busy and enthusiastic learning environment where there is always so much to do, see and learn.
If you have or know of a child turning 4 between 1 July 2014 and 30 June 2015, they are eligible to attend Kindergarten in 2015.
Upon enrolment we will need to copy your child’s birth certificate and immunisation records.

2014 CONTRIBUTIONS AND CHARGES

 

School uniforms are sold through the Cooinda Centre. Opening hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 3pm. Alternatively you can print out an order form and email to UNIFORMS Orders can then be picked up at your leisure.

VISITORS' BOOK All parents and visitors to the school, please report to the front office and sign the register, then as you leave , sign out. This is important so in case of emergency we are fully aware of who is on school grounds. As a visitor , you must comply with the occupational health and safety requirements of Tammin Primary School.

REMINDERS - Early close every Tuesday at 2.35pm.

Tammin Primary School is a Level 3 Department of Education and Training institute located within the Wheatbelt Education District 180 kilometres east of Perth. The school was established in its current location in 1969 and first commenced in 1900. The school has experienced an average enrolment of 65 over the past five years with students from Kindergarten to Year 7 and is proud of its friendly, caring and relaxed atmosphere. The majority of our school's population live on wheat and sheep farming properties that are serviced daily by two school bus routes running north and south of Great Eastern Highway.

Our vision and mission at Tammin Primary School is to ensure our students achieve positive social and academic skills and knowledge with high expectations of achievement by:
